The emerald wedding anniversary is traditionally the 55th anniversary of the couple's marriage. Often the husband will buy an emerald-related gift for his wife. Emerald Ring
An emerald ring is almost guaranteed to be well-received and although there are many expensive examples, there are plenty of much more affordable rings with these gemstones. An eternity ring is often given to celebrate a major anniversary, and these can have emeralds over the whole ring band (full eternity ring) or covering part of the ring band (half eternity ring). Alternating emeralds with gemstones of a different colour, e.g. diamonds, can give a nice effect.
